Sleeping Mats for Homeless

Sleeping Mats for Homeless

The Zielinski family at St. John the Baptist School brought to the schools attention a great service project that was so simple but yet so useful to the homeless. The school simply asked families to bring in plastic bags that they weren't using that were laying around the house to be collected for the local group Buffalo's Good Neighbors.  The local group Buffalo's Good Neighbors are  weaving sleeping mats for the homeless using these bags, it takes approximately 700 bags for one mat.
